ISSUE OVERVIEW

IFNC’s Top Priority: The modernization of the insurance marketplace in North Carolina, to ensure consumers of home and automobile insurance get all the benefits of open-market competition.

Some states sought modernization only after they were plunged into a terrible insurance consumer crisis, causing prices to soar and leaving few providers for families to choose from. IFNC wants to avoid a crisis like that from happening in North Carolina, and will pursue modernizations that benefit consumers and eliminate the inefficiency and unnecessary operational overhead of an antiquated system.

OUR MISSION

To be the voice of the automobile and homeowner insurance industry on regulatory and legislative issues in North Carolina. In addition, IFNC promotes consumer awareness on issues relating to home and auto insurance.
